Shipping Policy

1. Order Processing

After your payment is successfully confirmed, your order enters our processing queue. This involves:

• Quality inspection of each saree by our expert weavers and curators
• Careful folding, tissue wrapping, and secure packaging in our branded boxes
• Application of shipping labels and handover to courier partners

Processing typically takes 1–3 business days. Orders placed after 2:00 PM IST or on Sundays and public holidays will be processed the next business day. For custom, bespoke, or made-to-order sarees, processing time may extend to 7–14 business days.

2. Domestic Shipping (India)

* Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to public holidays, remote locations, or courier delays. Remote/hilly regions may require an additional 2–3 days.

3. International Shipping

We ship to select international destinations. International orders are processed on a case-by-case basis. To place an international order:

• Provide your delivery address and product requirements
• We will quote shipping charges and estimated delivery times

Please Note for International Shipments:

• Customs duties, import taxes, and clearance fees are the responsibility of the customer
• Estimated delivery: 10–18 business days depending on destination country
• We ship through trusted international couriers (DHL, FedEx, India Post EMS)
• All international orders are insured for the declared product value

4. Order Tracking

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive:

• A shipping confirmation email with your tracking number and courier partner details
• An SMS/WhatsApp notification if you have opted in
• Real-time tracking via the courier's website using the provided tracking ID

If you do not receive a tracking update within 48 hours of your dispatch confirmation, please contact us immediately.

5. Packaging

Each AS Fabrics saree is packaged with care befitting its heritage:

• Individually folded and wrapped in soft tissue paper
• Placed in our signature deep-maroon branded gift box
• Sealed with our gold ribbon and holographic authenticity seal
• Secured in a tamper-proof outer shipping carton

For gift orders, we offer complimentary premium gift wrapping and a personalized handwritten message card — please mention this in the order notes at checkout.

6. Delivery Attempts & Failed Deliveries

Our courier partners will make up to 3 delivery attempts. If delivery fails:

• The package will be held at the nearest courier hub for 5–7 days
• If unclaimed, the package will be returned to our warehouse in Varanasi
• Re-shipping charges will apply for undelivered packages returned to us
• We are not responsible for failed deliveries due to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided at checkout

7. Delays & Force Majeure

While we make every effort to deliver within estimated timelines, delays may occasionally occur due to factors beyond our control, including:

• Natural disasters, floods, or extreme weather conditions
• Public holidays, bandhs, or transportation strikes
• Customs clearance delays for international shipments
• Courier partner operational issues

In such cases, we will proactively communicate any significant delays and work to resolve them at the earliest.
